Hey to all were back at it again the next Mix Tape King Tournament will be held this year at the Cradle of Aviation in Uniondale, New York in February 2007. This event is so crazy that I must post the rules. If you think your the next up and coming Mix Tape King bring it........The prizes is off the hook with ( Money ,Label Deals, Commercials, DJ equipment, PR Deals, Mix Tape King Tour and etc.....) Hosted by the Legendary DJ Belal

1. Originality - this is the key right here. The beats you submit MUST be yours. The lyrics must be yours. Besides creating a cohesive mix tape, the themes also serve to make sure that the people participating are the ones creating the songs. Biting will result in severe and unmentionable IC penalties. Banned, disqualified and ridiculed. All at once.

2. Producers and MC's must be a myspace members to submit work to My URL http://www.myspace.com/playdateclub. or to lizzy@playdatecompany.com

3. All submissions must be audio. So please no posting of lyrics.

4. Only one submission per person, per round. Quality over quantity.

5. Each round and week will have an official thread [i.e.: Round 1 (Week 1)] to submit whatever material (beats, themes, or songs) is desired that week. Please only post up in those threads. A second thread will be made in week two for the voting to commence.

6. Constructive criticism only: no bickering back and forth, no hating, and no getting mad if someone doesn't feel your work.

7. Please put all questions in the Q&A thread. It's easier to have them concentrated in one place.
